Hello followers, page visitors, and randoms on the internet!

I understand that people feel passionate about characters, their relationships, and/or fandoms in general, and thus have many thoughts and opinions about them. ( I'm totally one of these people.  )
I also understand that not everyone is going to have the same opinion about a character, a relationship, a fandom, etc.

My request for anyone who comes across my page and wishes to comment on any of the photos I share in my portfolio is this:

 If you do not have anything constructive to say/questions about the cosplay, the photography, the editing, the composition, etc. with regards to any of the photos I share, then please take your comments/queries to one of my other pages, Reddit, or somewhere of that ilk where such discussions are meant to be. My page is not a discussion board for fandoms. 

This hasn't happened very often, but recent comments on one of my photos made me aware that I wanted to clarify a few this. I do not wish to have this page be the place where such things are discussed. This is a portfolio where I share the work I and the people I have worked with have created. I encourage comments or questions on the above mentioned things: the cosplay, the photography, the composition, etc. A lot of people don't comment, tending to just favourite the images or collect them into a favourites gallery, which is also very lovely. Thank you to everyone who has favourited any of my photos, it means a lot!

It's T-Minus 30 days untill the first convention I'm gonna be going to and I'm mostly prepared! Sorta  

I'm going to be taking things a bit slower this year in comparison with last years plans. Here are the conventions I plan on attending:

• Katsucon, February 17th to 19th
• Calgary Expo, April 27th to 30th
• MCM London, October 27th to 29th
• Otafest Aurora, dates TBD -- turns out Aurora got cancelled for this year so guess it's only 3 conventions for me this year!

Hello lovely followers!

It has been a busy year! I've traveled so much, gone to a lot more conventions than I have in previous years, and made some amazing new friends when I went over to London. I can't thank my bestie AnnaSCosplay enough for showing me such an amazing time while I was out visiting her. Also, a special thank you to SketchMcDraw for making the latter part of my London trip really magical. Between the two of them, I had the best vacation I've ever had.

The last convention of the year is quickly approaching – Otafest Aurora! Can't believe we're nearly through another year. I've already started planning for next year, at least for the first quarter. I will post my con schedule at a later date, once things have solidified a bit more.

I'm planning on slowing down a bit with the conventions for 2017 mostly due to some life plans I want/need to start getting underway. That does also mean I'll be slowing down with the number of cosplays I'll be doing. But I've decided to go more with quality over quantity. I want to get as many wears out of a costume as possible and really go the distance in what I make for myself. That's another reason why I'm going to be slowing down: I'm going to be making a lot more of my own stuff. I've really fallen in love with sewing and crafting and the joy of making something myself is really addicting.

Also going to start scheduling photo uploads on here too because if I don't I won't have this portfolio as up to date as my Facebook page. Though I am more active over there, and you can see my WIPs, non-cosplay/acting and modeling things, so please don't hesitate to go over there and give my page a like.

Other than that, I'll be on the RWBY hype train for the next while. My body is not ready (I lie, of course it is).

Hello lovely followers!

I'm off to London tonight and I'll be gone for the next 2-3 weeks. I know my updates on here haven't been as frequent as I promised but I've also been busy at work, prepping things for my vacation. I will upload a few cosplay photos before I have to leave thought today.

WHERE HAS THE FIRST QUARTER GONE?!  
Seriously, I can't believe it will be May this weekend.

Since I know better what my plans are going to be for the remainder of the year con wise I thought I'd update you lovely followers on here!

• Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, April 28th to May 1st
• London Anime & Gaming Con, July 1st to 3rd --> probably will only go on the 2nd but it's still a con I'm gonna try to go to since I'll be in London
• Japan Expo, July 7th to 10th
• Anime Revolution, August 5th to 7th
• Edmonton Expo, September 23rd to 25th --> This one is up in the air right now because I'm not sure if I'll get the time off from work but I'm hopeful!
• Otafest Aurora, November 4th to 5th
